Reactive and Planned Maintenance for MEP

Reactive and Planned Maintenance and 24/7 Live System Monitoring for MEP

Our aim at Higgins is to keep your business fully operational.
We are at the forefront of technology in MEP Facilities Management, allowing us to keep your building's systems working efficiently, complying at all times with all statutory regulations.

Higgins Reactive and Planned Maintenance and 24/7 Live System Monitoring

With Smart technology we monitor client facilities and assets. This technology detects problems early, before breakdown occurs.

A Planned Maintenance program ensures customer assets are correctly maintained and serviced, and that they comply with current regulations.

Clients also benefit from our Reactive Maintenance Service. Our Contact Centre takes the initial call and then dispatches an engineer from our team of electricians, plumbers and heating engineers within a given time period to make safe and repair the fault.

Reactive Maintenance: When a problem or fault occurs - we react swiftly to repair it.

When a customer reports a fault, we react immediately. The fault is logged, either through our customer portal 24/7 or through our contact centre.  We dispatch an engineer as soon as possible to assess, make safe and repair the problem.

Our fully staffed Contact Centre at our headquarters in Cheshire handles all inbound calls, emails and customer portal requests. From there, our scheduling team dispatches an engineer with the relevant qualifications to repair the fault.  Our fleet of vehicles are tracked, enabling the scheduling team to dispatch the closest engineer, resulting in a speedier response time and reduced CO2 emission for a more sustainable approach.

Facilities Management Smart Monitoring:

Early Warnings & Automatic Reactive Call Out.

Smart Monitoring ensures early detection of a potential fault, often before a breakdown happens.  This advanced early warning allows the dispatch of a Higgins engineer to repair the asset before a costly system failure occurs.

Smart Monitoring is made possible by ‘connected sensors’ fitted to customer assets or buildings. These smart sensors alert the Higgins monitoring system should a breakdown occur and, just as importantly, flag up a possible failure before it happens. Smart monitoring is the smart way to protect your business assets.

Leak detection - Sensors give early warning of water leaks

Flow temperature - Alert monitoring of high and low levels

Air quality - Monitoring CO2 build up and adjusting ventilation

Heat detector - Fire detection for boiler & plant rooms

Pump sensors - Early warning of pump failure

Meters – Live feed from electrical, gas and heat meters

Monitor energy - See your water, gas & electric usage

Plus many more smart & connected features and uses
